Fishing Log
Catch-by-clock tracker for every Endacopia fish — six windows, 18 species, Fish Paper, Lost Key.
This is the catch-by-clock tracker for the full 18-fish collection. Use it during fishing sessions to mark off species as you catch them. Each Timesville window contains three species that only bite during that window — none overlap.
For the deep dive (mini-game controls, clock-advancing method, Fish Paper chain), see All Fish. For the full collectibles list, see Collectibles Checklist.
Why the Clock Matters
Timesville does not advance time on its own. The clock hand moves only when Mellow enters or exits a building. To reach a new fishing window:
- Note the current clock position in the hub UI
- Enter any interior (apartment, shop) and exit
- Repeat until the hand reaches the target position
- Return to the dock and fish the three species for that state
Six clock states × three species = 18 total catches. Re-caught fish do not count toward the 18 — every entry must be a first-time catch.
Window 1 — Day 1 (08 AM)
| Catch | Species | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| ☐ | Nautilus | First bite of the day; easiest to hook |
| ☐ | Colisa Lalia | Mid-tier; standard reel cadence |
| ☐ | Jantic Fish | Reel hard; pulls the indicator right |
Window 2 — Day 2 (12 PM)
| Catch | Species | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| ☐ | Peter Panini | Easy; baseline reel |
| ☐ | Seahorse | Longest fight — budget 2 minutes per attempt |
| ☐ | Singin’ Fish | Plays a tune; pull on the downbeat |
Window 3 — Day 3 (18 PM)
| Catch | Species | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| ☐ | Eel | Fast strikes; pull immediately |
| ☐ | Reddest Fish Ever | Mid-tier; distinctive red bar |
| ☐ | Sea Man | Slow reel; long pauses |
Window 4 — Night 1 (20 PM)
| Catch | Species | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| ☐ | Pirate | Aggressive pulls left |
| ☐ | Skele-Fish | Quick to tire |
| ☐ | RC Ship | Tiny indicator; careful micro-moves |
Window 5 — Night 2 (00 AM)
| Catch | Species | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| ☐ | Crab | Slow; pulls down |
| ☐ | Starfish | Standard reel |
| ☐ | Big Worm | Long fight; pulls hard right |
Window 6 — Night 3 (04 AM)
| Catch | Species | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| ☐ | Drawing of a Fish | Sketch-style icon; standard reel |
| ☐ | Jelly | Soft pulls; finesse |
| ☐ | Crate | Last catch; the Fish Paper item drops after this |
Bonus Catch — ”???” (Blurred Head)
| Catch | Notes |
|---|---|
| ☐ | A blurred human head. Reported at dawn, midday, and night — not tied to a clock state. Does not count toward the 18 and does not appear in the aquarium. Some players have finished the game without ever pulling it up; trigger conditions are not confirmed. |
Story Route — 6 Fish for Telescope
The story needs six fish from any two clock states. Recommended:
- ☐ All 3 fish in Day 1 (Nautilus, Colisa Lalia, Jantic Fish)
- ☐ All 3 fish in Night 1 (Pirate, Skele-Fish, RC Ship)
Donate those six to the fox (Whiskers) in the Timesville aquarium at night to unlock the Condo party, password Yellow, and the Telescope.
Fishing License — Catthew’s Hide-and-Seek
Before any fish:
| Step | Location | Done |
|---|---|---|
| Catthew round 1 | Behind the locked shed before the beach | ☐ |
| Catthew round 2 | Behind the jail west of the apartment | ☐ |
| Catthew round 3 | Bridge beside shed → long house → footprints back to graveyard (chase scene — run toward the shed) | ☐ |
| Show Fishing License to the diver on the dock | Owning it is not enough | ☐ |
Fish Paper → Lost Key Chain (Stay)
For the Stay ending, you need the Lost Key, which only drops from the Fish Paper after all 18 catches:
| Step | Action | Done |
|---|---|---|
| Catch all 18 fish | See the 18 boxes above | ☐ |
| Inspect the Fish Paper (in your inventory) a second time | The Lost Key drops only on re-inspection | ☐ |
| Use Lost Key on the safe beyond the Waterfall Code door | Safe contains Angel’s Plea item | ☐ |
| Trigger Angel’s Plea scene | Confirms Timesville Stay secret | ☐ |
Critical: the Fish Paper item itself comes from a second beach dig with the Metal Detector — after Beartha’s PGD chain. Sweep parallel to the hole on the beach near the bottom border of the walkable area.
Achievement Tip — Leave the Rod
After the 18th catch, walk away from the dock before checking [Steam]. The I Want To Be A Fisherman achievement has a known UI lag where it does not fire while you are still holding the rod.
If it still hasn’t unlocked after leaving the area, reload a wandering save.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to common questions about Endacopia.
How do I advance the clock to the next window?
Enter and exit any building in Timesville. Each door cycle moves the clock hand one position. Repeat until you reach the desired window.
Does recatching the same fish count toward the 18?
No. Each entry must be a first-time catch. The in-game Fish Paper tracks unique species only.
Why didn't the Lost Key drop after I caught 18 fish?
The Lost Key is not automatic — inspect the completed Fish Paper in your inventory a second time. If the Fish Paper itself is missing, complete Beartha's second beach dig with the Metal Detector first.
