Hallway

The corridor after Doors.exe — Clocky guards the path to the bathroom.

Last updated:

The hallway is the upper-floor corridor that connects Mellow’s Room to the bathroom after you solve the early demo puzzles. It is the site of the demo’s first first-person combat encounter against Clocky and a key transition point before the demo ending.

Overview

After running Doors.exe on the computer and obtaining the Cheshire password from Wall Bank, a door appears in the overworld leading to the hallway. The corridor contains multiple doors — one locked, one leading to the bathroom — and the Clocky fight that blocks progress on the standard route.

In the full game (released July 27, 2026), the hallway is part of the opening chapter structure. Neoseeker’s walkthrough notes that Endacopia uses a chapter-by-chapter layout with non-linear area order — you may revisit or skip certain rooms depending on choices.

How to Reach the Hallway

Standard demo path:

  1. Complete Kitchen & Coins chain → password Cheshire
  2. Boot the computer and run Doors.exe (if not already done)
  3. Click the white door in the program
  4. Use the hand cursor on the new door in the overworld
  5. Enter the hallway — Clocky blocks further progress until defeated

Alternate route: Some players reach upper-floor areas via Doors.exe before the vent/kitchen chain. Endacopia rewards experimentation.

Clocky Combat

Clocky is a humanoid clock entity that guards the hallway. Combat basics:

  • Block rhythm — Clocky telegraphs attacks; right-click to block just before impact
  • Counter pattern — After blocking, land 2–3 left-clicks before blocking again
  • Six rounds — Approximately six block-and-counter cycles defeat Clocky
  • Stamina — Attacks and blocks cost stamina; do not spam punches

Speedrunners hold right-click for the entire fight (see Speedrunning). Full combat tips: Mini-Games Guide.

After Clocky falls, use the hand cursor on the second door to reach the Bathroom.

Full Game Notes

The full release expands beyond the demo hallway:

  • Freelance Surgeon content appears after Clocky — a painting falls, revealing a wall hole
  • Optional bossesTrapezist, Chameleon, AI in later areas
  • Save system — Full game has wandering save points; one save file at a time (Save System Guide)
  • Chapter structure — Prologue and Chapter 1 documented by Neoseeker; routes still being mapped on this wiki

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I skip the Clocky fight? A: On the standard demo path, no. Clocky must be defeated to access the bathroom door.

Q: Is hallway Clocky the same as room Clocky? A: Community sources (TV Tropes) describe them as the same entity — the room clock stares and blinks; the hallway clock fights.

Q: Does the demo hallway have save points? A: No. Save points are a full-game feature. The demo is one continuous session.
