Save System

Wandering save points, one slot, Steam Cloud (1.04), and volume keys (1.05–1.07).

Last updated:

Endacopia handles saving differently between the demo and the full game. After patch 1.04, the full game supports Steam Cloud for the single save file — 1.07 adds title-screen achievement sync and refines volume controls (F9 reset, Shift + +/−). Protect progress before the Saw Box and Stay secret runs.

The demo is a single continuous session. Closing mid-demo restarts from the beginning.

Steam Cloud (Patch 1.04, still in 1.05)

As of Endacopia 1.04, Steam can sync your save across PCs on the same account. Patch 1.05 did not replace Cloud — update to 1.05+ for latest fixes while keeping Cloud enabled:

  1. Update Endacopia to 1.05+ (Patch Notes)
  2. Steam → Settings → Cloud → enable Steam Cloud
  3. Confirm Endacopia’s properties allow cloud for the game

Cloud syncs the same single slot — it does not add parallel ending slots. Still keep a manual userdata backup before:

Volume Tip (Patch 1.05–1.07)

Stay’s Office Morse puzzle (phone 277-5944 in the Jobs app) requires hearing coded audio. If Morse is too quiet:

  • Press F9 to reset volume to 100% (1.07)
  • Use Shift + + for deliberate increases (1.07)

See Telescope and Controls.

Full Game Save Points

According to Neoseeker’s Endacopia walkthrough, the full game features wandering save points:

  • Save points move or appear as you explore
  • You must actively seek them out
  • Chapter structure: Prologue → Chapter I → Chapter II → Chapter III
  • Exploration in Chapter I is non-linear

Best Practices

  1. Save often — Before Clocky, Trapezist, Chameleon, AI, and Henry
  2. Before the Saw Box — Escape vs Return (Endings · Roger)
  3. Near-complete Chapter I save — Required comfort for Stay retries
  4. After major puzzles — Especially Office Morse / fishing secrets
  5. Before optional crash contentBride route

One Save File Limit

Only one save file at a time means:

  • Parallel ending runs require overwrites or external backups
  • Fight vs avoid boss achievements need multiple playthroughs (Achievements)
  • Cloud does not give you four ending slots — it only mirrors the one file

Chapter Structure

  • Prologue — House sequence (demo overlap)
  • Chapter I — Body-part hubs: Circus, Office, Timesville via Green Hills
  • Chapters II–III — Saw choice, optional bosses, Misery Town, ending epilogues

See Walkthrough and Henry Boss.

What Happens on Death?

  • Combat deaths — Restart the current fight; exploration progress kept
  • Demo — Quit = full restart
  • Full game — Load last wandering save (Cloud restores the synced file on another PC)

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to common questions about Endacopia.

How many endings require separate saves?

Plan backups for Toy Saw vs Real Saw, plus a Chapter I file for Stay. Expect 3–4 runs for 100% with boss avoid paths.

When was Steam Cloud added?

Patch 1.04 (late July 2026). Patch 1.05 kept Cloud and added in-game volume keys.

Does quitting mid-chapter lose progress?

Anything since your last wandering save point is lost. Save before closing the game.
