Scribbly Guide

Collect all 8 paper pieces, draw the face, enter SCRIBBLY — and why patch 1.08 matters.

Last updated:

Scribbly is a pencil-doodle character in Endacopia who rewards you with a map once you collect all eight paper pieces, draw the matching face, and enter the password SCRIBBLY. It is a full-game-only puzzle that appears in The Circus area during Chapter I.

Overview

Scribbly looks like a rough pencil sketch come to life — a elementary school doodle with stick limbs and a wide, uncertain expression. The puzzle is straightforward in structure but easy to interrupt if you do not know the mid-use warning.

Step-by-Step

1. Find the Eight Paper Pieces

Paper pieces are scattered across the Circus area. They are small, easily overlooked, and some require solving other puzzles to access:

PieceLocationAccess Method
1–4Circus ground floorExplore thoroughly
5–6Doodle Maze areaComplete the maze
7–8Behind Whack-a-MoleAfter Medical Tent chain

Collect all eight before attempting the drawing sequence.

2. Draw the Face

Return to Scribbly with all eight pieces. Interact to begin the drawing sequence:

  • The screen shows a rough face outline
  • You must replicate the exact pencil strokes Scribbly expects
  • Going outside the lines or missing strokes resets the sequence

3. Enter SCRIBBLY

After completing the drawing, a text prompt appears. Type SCRIBBLY exactly as written (case insensitive).

4. Claim the Map

Correct drawing + correct password → Scribbly rewards you with a map of the Circus area. This map is useful for routing toward the Trapeze platform and the optional Trapezist boss.

Patch 1.08 Warning

Patch 1.08 (August 7, 2026) addressed an issue with Scribbly:

“Fixed an issue where leaving mid-use could cause problems”

If you are on an older build:

  • Do not leave the Scribbly interaction mid-drawing
  • Save before approaching Scribbly if you have any doubt
  • Update to 1.08+ for the fix

Troubleshooting

Q: I entered SCRIBBLY but nothing happened A: Check case sensitivity — SCRIBBLY must be typed exactly. If it still fails, you may have missed a paper piece.

Q: Can I leave mid-drawing and come back? A: On patch 1.08+ you can safely leave. On older builds, leaving mid-use could cause problems — update or save first.

Q: Does Scribbly appear in the demo? A: No. Scribbly is full-game-only.
