Trapezist

Circus aerial boss — punch her balls for Fatal Performance, or cut the left rope with the Scalpel for Cut The Act.

Last updated:

The Trapezist is an optional boss encounter reached through the trapeze tent in The Circus during the Chapter II Circus revisit (after you clear the crowd with the microphone booth). She is the fight/avoid pair for Steam achievements Fatal Performance and Cut The Act.

Most players fight on a first run. Cut The Act needs the Scalpel skip the moment you land on her platform.

How to Reach Her

  1. Clear the crowd blocking the main tent (microphone booth → tell them to leave)
  2. Complete the circus act QTEs: trapeze line → blue ball → hoop → trampoline (Space at peak) → unicycle → cannon
  3. Land beside the Trapezist — decide fight vs avoid immediately

Fight — Fatal Performance

  • Speak to her and start combat
  • Balls fall in left / middle / right lanes
  • Punch balls when they are in front of you (blocking alone is not enough)
  • M2 block · M1 punch · watch stamina (Clocky practice in the Prologue helps)

Avoid — Cut The Act

  1. Keep the Scalpel from the Circus Whack-a-Mole → Medical Tent chain
  2. As soon as you land beside her, use the Scalpel on the rope / wire on the left
  3. Do not open the fight dialogue

Stay Routing

On a dedicated Stay (Ending C) run, fight the Trapezist. Save Cut The Act for a separate avoid / 100% run. See Endings and Stay Secrets.

Q: How do I avoid the Trapezist? A: Land on her platform and cut the left rope with the Scalpel before starting combat.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to common questions about Endacopia.

What combat tips apply from the demo?

Clocky's block-and-counter rhythm from the Mini-Games guide is the best starting reference — then prioritize punching her falling balls.

Can I get both Trapezist achievements in one run?

No — fight and avoid paths are mutually exclusive per playthrough.

Does defeating the Trapezist unlock an ending?

No. Ending achievements use separate triggers. Stay still wants you to fight her on that specific run.
