Characters

Henry

Burlap lizard horror — from kitchen stealth to the Ending A uvula boss fight.

Last updated:

Henry is Endacopia’s signature monster: a large, hostile figure wrapped in burlap, with a pig-like head, pale cataract eyes, and mismatched hands. He knocks Mellow out at the start, patrols the kitchen, owns the Saw Box that locks Ending A or B, and becomes the final boss of Ending A (Escape / Family!).

Overview

Henry looks like a monitor-lizard body dressed in potato-sack cloth — animal shape, textile intention. Community and TV Tropes descriptions emphasize half-blind cataract eyes and an uncanny domestic name for something so wrong.

He is not just a demo scare. In the full game (July 27, 2026) Henry anchors the late story’s family / freedom confrontation.

Story Role

  1. Inciting abduction — Knocks Mellow unconscious and delivers him to the house
  2. Kitchen jailer — Patrols while Mellow steals Cheese from the fridge
  3. Saw Box gatekeeper — His PC holds PASSWORDS.TXT; code 471 opens the box containing the Toy Saw or Real Saw
  4. Ending A antagonist — Inside the giant mouth arena, he declares Mellow has “no one waiting” outside before the boss fight

Related identity plot: Roger · Mellow.

Gameplay Encounters

Opening cutscene

Non-combat. Henry captures Mellow and the Prologue begins in Mellow’s Room.

Kitchen stealth

During the Vent & Kitchen route:

  • Hide in the right cabinet when Henry approaches
  • Spam-click the left cabinet until he leaves
  • He tracks where the guardian angel cursor points — misdirect and he threatens to “teach you a lesson”

Details: Kitchen · Fridge Puzzle.

Saw Box (Chapter II)

StepAction
1Read PASSWORDS.TXT on Henry’s computer
2Enter 471 on the Saw Box
3Take one saw only
4Give it to Roger — Toy → Escape, Real → Return

Backup saves first. See Saws · Endings.

Ending A boss — mouth arena

Full strategy: Henry Boss Fight Guide.

Summary:

  • Do not win by punching Henry
  • Bait his overhead bat swing into the hanging uvula by aiming the cursor
  • Move Mellow out of the swing path
  • Phase 2 bites can come from any side

Reached after Tip boosts you through a ceiling hole on the Escape route — fight cannot be skipped on that path.

Design Notes

Henry’s burlap wrapping and domestic name echo Endacopia’s edutainment-meets-horror tone (Petscop / Pajama Sam DNA). Mellow’s bedroom drawing of Henry looks softer than the kitchen reality — perception filters the monster.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I fight Henry in the full game? A: Yes — on Ending A (Toy Saw / Escape). He is the final boss of that route. See Henry Boss.

Q: Is Henry a skippable optional boss like Trapezist? A: No. On Escape, the mouth-arena fight is mandatory. Trapezist / Chameleon / AI remain the optional fight-or-avoid trio.

Q: What does Henry want? A: Early game offers no clear motive. Ending A frames him as the force denying Mellow an outside “family” / freedom — exact canon intent stays ambiguous.
