World & Locations
Explore every area of the Endacopia house, from the bedroom to the bathroom.
Endacopia takes place primarily inside a single house that operates on surreal, non-Euclidean rules. Rooms connect in unexpected ways, objects behave differently than their real-world counterparts, and the architecture of the house itself seems to shift over time. This hub documents every area explored in the demo.
Areas in the Demo
Mellow’s Room
The starting area. A child’s bedroom that functions as the tutorial space and safe room. Contains the computer, bed, toy box, and multiple interactive objects.
- Computer: Required for the Doors.exe puzzle
- Toy box: Contains collectible items
- Bed: Mostly decorative, some interactions available
- Walls: Several walls have hidden interactions
Upper Floor / Hallway
The corridor connecting Mellow’s room to other areas of the house. Contains doors to the kitchen, bathroom, and other rooms.
- Hallway: Site of the Clocky combat encounter
- Doors: Some are locked, some lead to puzzles
Kitchen
An area accessible from the upper floor. Contains the fridge puzzle and potentially other interactive elements.
- Fridge: May contain items or clues
- Counter objects: Various interactive items
Bathroom
The final area of the demo. Contains the plunger and the toilet that triggers the demo ending.
- Plunger: Key item required to end the demo
- Toilet: Used with the plunger to trigger the ending sequence
- Bathtub: Where the plunger is found
World Design Philosophy
The Endacopia house is designed to feel simultaneously familiar and wrong. It resembles a real house — bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms — but the proportions, connections, and rules of each room are distorted. Doors lead to unexpected places. Rooms that should be adjacent are not. The house reflects Mellow’s fractured mental state.
Non-Euclidean Elements
Several elements of the house violate physical logic:
- Doors.exe creates new doors in the overworld
- A red creature emerges from the toilet after using the plunger
- Rooms that appear identical may have different interactive objects
Adding Location Entries
To document a new area, create a JSON file under content/source/world/ with the location name, description, items found there, puzzles associated with it, and connections to other areas.
